who is danny lim?
He is straight talking style photographer exists with a patience and appreciation for the aesthetic that's inspired by his eye for all things beautiful. Danny picked up his camera as a photo enthusiast at the tender age of 15 and move to graduate from La Salle School of Arts, Singapore as a graphic designer. This was his first bid to hone his creative talent into a formal discipline but photography was a calling and he returned to his first love as a photojournalist with the Star Publication in Malaysia, on the political and crime beat.
Further efforts propelled him into the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology where he graduated in Bachelor of Arts in Photography in 1996. Danny continued to create beauty in still life, portraiture and beauty shoots in Chezvous Makeover Studio.
Joined Peter Knipp Holdings in 2005, he has broaden his photographic horizons into the culinary arts and it's process. During this time he covered 30 volumes of Cuisine and Wine Asia magazine, was the official photographer for World Gourmet Summit, Gourmet Abu Dhabi and Gourmet Asia Bangkok/Macau. He managed to complete 2 books which are Singapore Symphony Orchestra Cookbook and Gourmet Abu Dhabi Coffee Table Book.
After 5 years working in the F&B world, he decided to widen his skills beyond that by creating his own company called True Colours which specialized in Still Life & Food, Interior and Exterior, Events, Portraiture and Pre Wedding Photography.
Danny Lim home based is Singapore and he travels extensively around Asia and Oceania regions to cover all aspects of photography.
